The Stroud Vintage Transport & Engine Club, is the organising body behind the Gloucestershire Steam & Vintage Extravaganza.

If you are interested in anything connected with the preservation movement then why not join this friendly organisation?

As well as the huge event at Kemble, the club also runs a number of social occasions  on a monthly basis throughout the year. These take the form of free indoor meetings during the Winter months, where members are treated to talks and film shows and visits to a variety of transport or industrial sites during the summer months.

Subjects covered are varied and have in the last few years featured trams, railways, buses, traction engines, aircraft, commercial vehicles, canals, industrial archeology; in fact anything involving old machinery and vintage transport are likely to be covered at some point. Meetings are normally held on the second monday of the month.

You do not have to own a exhibit to join, just possess an interest in the preservation movement.
